Favorite New Super Mario Bros?

Personally, I love the newer games, so my favorite is New Super Mario Bros U. Here are some reasons why:
-Has great graphics and music
-Has tons of powerups, such as the Acorn Suit and the Penguin Suit
-Its fun Challenge Mode
-Battle Coin editor, is 1 of 3 games that has battle

I PK LOVED THE DS NEW SUPER MARIO BROS, it was the best in terms of difficulty and courses. The rest in the series got way too easy (or that might just be me) especially new super Mario bros 2, I pick New Super Mario Bros DS bow wow

Probably the DS version. After that, the series started wearing out its welcome somewhere after the Wii version, cos it was all kind of same-y.

Old school: SMB, SMB2, or SMB3, unfortunately I haven´t played newer ones...

My memories of NSMBW beat any other game of the series.

Haven't played New Super Mario Bros. for the DS so I can't tell about that one, but I've tried the others. The old-school Mario games are good, but they didn't appeal that much to me. The NSMB games are good, too, but the problem with them is that the games are almost the same and don't add anything new. The Wii U game though, tried new things, like the Challenge and Boost Rush Mode and overall, I liked it more than the other games, so I vote for New Super Mario Bros. U.
