I got the Fact or Crap Trivia (2013) for Christmas. Each day in 2013 (except Saturdays & Sundays), I will post a trivia for you to think if the trivia of the day is a fact, or is total crap. So, if you like, for each day, post whether you think it is a fact or is a crap.

George Sand was the female French writer who was born Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin in 1804 and who is best known for shocking Paris society by wearing men's trousers in public. George Eliot was the female English novelist and journalist born Mary Anne Evans in 1819, who credits George Sand as one of her greatest influences.

Mini-golf was invented after a hurricane wiped out half of Pebble Beach.

Miniature golf or mini-golf was invented by Garnet Carter in 1929 as a way to attract people to his hotel located near Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Garnet patented his mini-golf game under the name Tom Thumb Golf. This is a game where you putt-putt and chip but never drive!

Here's a suggestion - why not set up a poll and post the results every day? I'm sure you'll get more people making choices then, and you can see how many were right compared to wrong.

Just use the statement for the question, and have the only answers being "Fact" and "Crap" for each day! ;D

Rodin employed many student artists who modeled as a part-time job. The artist Clementine Claudel was Rodin's best-known model and companion for over twenty years, and it is believed that she modeled for The Kiss.

Before and after Michelangelo's version in the Sistine Chapel, most artists strategically placed fig leaves or other foliage to conceal Adam and Eve's nakedness. A good example of this is the 1507 painting Adam and Eve by Albrecht Dürer.

It's Crap.

Magnum PI, the 1980s television series starring Tom Selleck, is set in Oahu, Hawaii, not Miami, Florida. All the beaches and ocean of Oahu are open to the public so tourists are free to visit many of the locations where the series was filmed. Kupaianaha!
