Even More Smash DLC

I think Ryu's inclusion embodies traditional fighting games overall (also why Mii Brawler gets costumes from Tekken and Virtua Fighter). I don't think Nintendo needs to have a third party RPG rep

Also Final Fantasy has horrible Nintendo history from like 5 onward (not to mention people aren't really finding the series headed anywhere great now)

i just assumed it was new because inky and ken aren't out yet

really though most of these characters are boring as hell

mewtwo and inkling seem like the only good ones

but even then the 5$ price tag is pretty hefty for a single character

(Smash 3DS listed under wario games on the eshop before Wario's reveal, and the Smash 3DS Trailer with Ganondorf)
 
Everyone, including employees from game companies, make mistakes from time to time. This is nothing new. And even though it's a mistake, you can't actually confirm whether they put it up leaking the information or confirming the information. Rumors are rumors. Wait until Nintendo publicly announces content, not some employees that works by working on websites.
