I just got the 500 Error myself. I checked the Error Log and got this:
(12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn't create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/suphp for...

SZ, the error also randomly affected Subs-Portal.php and a couple of others...

I checked our Stats and we had record number of unique visitors at 1126. It could be a lot of people on at the same time. We have to wait until tomorrow to see the results for today.
EDIT: Spoke too soon. Not a record, we had a few days in July that were pretty big.

This error is usually due to an error of big traffic.
Got an email from sz about it, and got a text from vip, and thought I'd post to leave you all informed.
Asked sz a few questions first, so I'll be better informed of the situation.
But if you want to reply with your answers, that could help as well.
When did this start? Today?
Does it happen on specific pages/places? Or is it sporadic and random when it happens?
What is/are the error messages?
If it happens again, it would be appreciated if you could copy and paste the error message here, along with the url of where it happened, or take a screenshot of the page.
Once I get some more specific details, I can contact my host with them, and see if we can get this all fixed. Who knows, maybe they know and its just a temporary glitch or something.

Sporadic, today (I think), error 503 and 500 dominated, sometimes warning of overloads on certain sources files (you can check the errorlog if you want 
)

Yeah, that's exactly the error I print-screened, I'd post it, but it's the same, so no need to. Only difference was that mine's on Firefox.

Wondering if its the server itself, or something going funky with smf. Maybe a bad mod or something. I emailed another guy I host who runs a smf forum (Version 1 though) and asked him if he's getting any server errors or not.
