Elebits (Wii)

This was made in 2007 by Konami (of course). What happens a little boy or girl (I can't tell at all) looses Elebits which have electricity and you have to get it back by collecting Elebits with a gravity gun. This game uses the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck. In every level there is a certain number of watts you need in each stage. Using your gun, you must move stuff around grabbing all the Elebits you can get. If you get enough electricity, you can use an appliance. Sometimes you must insert something for the appliance to work. Once the appliance starts, you get power Elebits. These Elebits make you gun more powerful. Soon, your gun will level up and you can lift heavier things. Later on in the game extra challenges will be part of objective like not making to much noise or not to break anything. Of course, there are power-ups that you can use like a homing ray and noise canceller. It may seem easy but actually it's sometimes infuriating. Just when you're 100 watts away, it seems like you can't find any more Elebits. There are many stages. I love the city stages because if you have a powerful enough gun, you can lift buildings and cars and fling them in the air. Gravity is very poor though in this game. It takes about 20 seconds for a building to come down after you throw it up in the air. There is a multiplayer mode in the game. It doesn't give you that "2 different screens mode" like in most games. Instead, you choose who controls the camera. You can also choose to alternate the camera. The problem is it changed every 5 seconds so you can't really move anywhere. You can also choose the power from 1 to 6. The object in the multiplayer mode is to get more electricity than your opponet in a certain time limit. The best thing about this game is its Free Mode. You can customize your own stage. You can place objects and Elebits anywhere you want. Also, there is a gallery where you can view collected Elebits, view clips, and look at items. My favorite items are the steamroller and the Wii. Yes. The Wii is in this game as an item. So is the Wii Remote. Of course in all games there is a Story Mode. After ever level, you'll never guess what happens. YOU GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL! So you keep going and going until you get to a boss stage. These are hard because you have to do difficult things like capture microscopic clones of Elebits hidden around a room in less than 5 minutes or throw things at a Boss Elebit until it shrinks. The hardest one to beat so far for me is the one where you have to fight one that looks like a fat yellow version of the Easter Bunny. What you have to do is avoid getting attacked by it while it absorbs the evil Elebits around it. It's almost impossible because you go so slow and it goes almost the whole way across the stage. If you do escape from it, you have to pick it up and slam it against a wall. Keep doing it while not getting killed and you defeat it. What sucks about it is it gets more powerful by the ornaments on a Christmas Tree in the middle of the stage. Even if you destroy them all it grows more and doesn't stop at all. Also if you move before it makes an attack it just moves toward you so you have to be lucky it doesn't attack you. It feels like there are too many stages. I'm like on the 35th stage and I don't even think I'm halfway through the game. So anyway, the only thing I like about this game is throwing cars at vending machines.

I give this game a 8/10 for fun gameplay but too hard boss fights. I like a challenge but these fights are ridiculous.
