Youtube might not be possible to ever work on the DSi. Streaming videos takes some good amount of power and the DSi has only 133mHz clock speed. It might be doubled from the original DS's 67mHz, but it's still not enough. Not even enough for the smallest flash add-on like Adobe Flash Lite. I myself was dissapointed that it didn't have enough for Flash.
I have a DSi Matte Blue and I really love it, but I am waiting for at least a decent DSi-enhanced game, and then I will be happy.
The camera's are pretty good, the quality is about that of my Verizon LG Dare phone that has a 3.2 megapixel camera.
The applications like DSi sound are fun to play with. It's also fun to play with music files, listening to a man singing and increasing the pitch to make it sound like a little girl.
The internet Browser is a lot better than the old DS browser. It loaded this site in as little as about 7.65 secs (I used a watch to time it.)
The DSiWare however, sucks right now. All of the games and the apps are pretty lame and I hope Nintendo changes that. (I am still waiting for the memo animation pad)
The speakers are a lot better in sound quality, the screens size differences are noticeable, and it is brighter than the DSLite. You can even change the backlight intensity whenever and wherever you want.
Overall, I really like the DSi for mostly having fun with the apps in it. Not so much of the games. Untill a very good DSi-enhacned game comes out, my mind might change.
