This game was supposed to be the sequel to Diddy Kong Racing for the N64. Donkey Kong Racing was going to be made for the Game Cube but it was never released. It would have been nice for a sequel but I think Rareware sold themselves to Microsoft before the game could have been fully made...

I would've liked this game because the N64 DKR was a great game!

I heard about this for a while, but it is a shame that it was never complete. Rare was sold to Microsoft in the process of this game in development, but it then got cancelled.I'm sure that I would have gotten this game if it was complete and released to public.

I remember seeing this on my GCN box as a game to be featured. Given the concept of using more DKC themed mounts, it would've appealed a lot to hardcore DKC fans. I could only imagine a battle mode with Enguarde-riding Kongs and Kremlings... =P

This looks like an okay game. I didn't see any actual screenshots, so I don't know how nice this game would play. I would've loved to see a sequel though because Diddy Kong Racing was great.

So sad it wasn't release, it looked good but unfortunately it wasn't release and finish. Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, was ok if I remember well for a donkey racing game, but this one could have been better.

It'd be funny to race as Taj (and not the lame one from DKRDS), too bad this game didn't make it.

Oh, Tiny was going to be in it... the old Tiny...  :'(

[cookieboy17]

Yea not the new Tiny that dresses like a slut.

Microsoft basically raped Rare up the a**.

This should have continued with Nintendo's developers.
