Having a girlfriend (or boyfriend) isn't really a hassle like some of you are making it out to be =P

It's only a hassle if you're dating the wrong type of person for yourself. If you don't want a girlfriend who wants to go out all the time, don't date someone like that. Pretty simple.

And not letting stupid stuff bother you/annoy you goes a long way. I've heard people say stuff like "If you don't fight with your SO that's just as bad as fighting all the time" but I think that's bullshit. IMO, there are very few things that 2 people who are dating & aren't living together have to fight about. Me & my boyfriend haven't really come close to a fight because nothing ever comes up that's worth fighting over.

I actually give this all a lot of thought =P. Like I've said in other topics, I don't want to be one of those girlfriends or eventually wives who nags her husband constantly over insignificant things, doesn't want him to drink or hang out with friends ever, is never in the mood for sex, etc. etc. That's how you end up divorced.

On topic, I use to have a girlfriend when I was in school (like 12 I think?), but the relationship ended in like 3 months cuz over time we were not interested in each other. But still, it was nice.
