Ditching

The question is manly for high school, do you skip school during periods or completely? if so how often do you ditch?

For me, i started this during my sophomore because simply high school is aggravating at times and I don't feel like being there at the moment. I have only ditch school during periods change and I never ditch school completely.
 
I ditched so much during high school. I was gone for about half of my senior year, about a fourth of my junior year, and about maybe a few weeks of my sophomore year. I don't remember exact numbers, but I had to spend weeks making up homework, quizzes, labs, and tests. Thankfully, I still graduated and got my diploma on time.


Since I've started college, I haven't ditched a single day or class. If I want to receive scholarships, grants, and loans, I'm gonna have to go. It'd be a waste to just ditch. Plus, I only go two days a week, so it's not hard to attend.
 
I only ditch if it's a non-learning day. For example I won't go to Sport Days like Athletics Day or Swimming Carnival. If it's a regular school day and I ditch it's usually because I have a real reason not to go. Except I believe I ditched in Grade 5 because it was the end of the year and my brothers had been off school for weeks and I kept complaining.
 
I just realized something. Was this topic made for the law 'If you miss school without a reason you will be fined $70'? If so. It's the stupidest idea ever. No ne told us about it and about 7 people in my class today got detentions for that and they never told us about this. So pretty much one girl got detention for vomiting and have a concussion.
 
I don't exactly skip, but if I REALLY don't feel like going to school the next day I'm gonna fake being sick and say I have a stomach ache. Works 95% of time. :p
If I ever skipped & parents found out I'd be screwed, so uh yeah lol

Though once my mom asked me if I wanted to stay home, I said yes right away b/c the snow was ridiculous yet my damn school practically never officially announces a snow day -__-
 
I had perfect attendance for my 4 years in high school. I was so lame.

But, for my first two semesters in college, I've skipped a lot of days lol. Mainly due to me over-sleeping or knowing that the material that will be covered today will be a massive borefest.
