I used to get a lot of detentions back in 6th grade, because my 6th grade Adviser just doesn't understand.

And I got:
2 detentions in 6th grade, I didn't deserve either
1 in 8th grade icr why

like 15 in 9th grade
about 10 in 10th
and only 1 this year for lates

I don't remember, maybe my father knows, though.

And I thought you don't get detention, cookieboy17, I thought you get JUGs.

Canada is actually a lot like the US. Our education systems are pretty similar.

Except your courses are probably a lot more useful.

Give me an example of what your courses are like. I know we probably have less courses.

We (no matter what state you are in) have to get the following subjects in order to graduate (minimum):

4 years of English
4 years of US History
4 years of Physical Education
A half-year of Health
A half-year of Sociology/Psychology
2 years of 2 math courses
2 years of Science.

In Math, there's Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Business Math, Economics, Computer Programming, Website Design, Business Law, Drawing and Design Prints, and Financial Affairs.

In Science, there's Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, College Chem, Physics, College Physics, Astronomy, Meteorology, Forensics, Evolutionists, Anatomy, Archeology, and Flora.

Other classes include foreign language classes, theater, music courses, art courses like Studio Art and Media Art, and debate class.

In NYC, you have to take 4 years of math in addition to everything else you just listed, and also get involved in a million after school activities

3.5 Social Studies
3 Math
3 Science
2.5 Gym
1 Language (Though 2 are suggested)
.5 Health

Everything else is free game.

Well, like I said, it depends (in New York) if you're going for a Regular Regents diploma or an Advanced Regents Diploma.

I'm going for the Regular Regents, so I only need 2 years of Math.

I said that at school almost everyday.  Some of my teachers don't mind it.  XD
[Although, I said it in Math class once and the teacher told me to not say it again anymore in his class.  I died laughing that day!]

Anyways..  No, I never got a detention.  I almost did for dress code violation back in 6th grade middle school.  [The dress code rule was stupid and middle school was super strict.  It was really lame.]
