I would really like this, but I don't see how flaming wouldn't be avoided.
Debating is not the same as Flaming. It can be avoided. You can have nice discussions without flaming, you know.
I'm for it but only for mature members who can handle a serious discussion.
So you mean a serious discussion type of board?
I know we can avoid flaming in a debate board but since it's about debating somebody might flame because somebody's contradiction.

But it's not flaming, it's a serious discussion but I can see what you are talking about. That's why it should be for mature members.
I'm up for it, but it depends on what we'll be debating!

This. I'd be able to fit for these serious discussions since I'm pretty mature.
Sound like you can't handle it.kingboo said:
And it'd be pretty coolio.
Religion and Political topics will always spark some form of disagreement. If you can't handle that, then just don't go into the board at all. :/
I mixed with it. It does seem pretty good but I'm just worrying IF arguments form. If it does come I will probably just avoid it but if some seem interesting, I'll be there.
If you do this, VIP, I will be ur boyfriiieeenndd. <3
I'm up for this, even though I might not participate much. I can get the board up, but I'll think I'll put in members who are eligible to be in. It sounds like a lot of you are, but not kingboo. Sorry kingboo, but I don't think you're ready for these discussions.
Just make a Rule Topic for it and let's debate!
I think the members who get in would know there limits and not need rules. Unless you just wanna repeat the rules topic in the intro board or wherever it is.
I want a debate board. I've got some issues with this site. (not)
We already have Serious Discussion, but because most of the people on here don't know what Communism and Capitalism is, it's not going great. >.>
There's a debate board?
*facepalm*
Given that there isn't membergroup restriction in that board, I don't see why some people aren't posting there with issues like (example) "there shouldn't be a specific law against under-13s accessing forums" etcetera.
