Darkest Game You Have Played

What is the darkest game you have played? By dark I mean a dark atmosphere or storyline.
The darkest game I have played was Fragile Dreams Farewell Ruins of the Moon. It has a very dark storyline, overworld, and cutscenes.

Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly. That game is creepy.

Super Paper Mario because it had people being brainwashed, the world was ending and many other things like that. i still like it though.

Deadspace. This game is scary, scary and scary. I never finish it.

Silent Hill 2.  That pyramid head was horrendously scary.  Rather freaky, too, seeing pyramid head literally raping a bunch of other monsters.

That reminds me of myself, in a way.

A game called Operation Darkness for the 360. It has a whole crap load of stuff in it. Like Nazi zombies, vampires, skeletons that can use swords, regular Nazi's, magic, werewolves, weapons such as guns and bazookas also knives. I can't forget to mention...there are like a lot of tanks in that game too.

I have to say Metroid or The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.
Twilight Princess have twilight, Metroid....it has some "evil" planets.

You're kidding right? Everything dies you know, even cats they eventually lose all their lives.

And I don't really play much creepy games I never bothered with that stuff so I guess Luigi's Mansion, that game scared me when I was a kid.

Prolly Rayman 2 for N64. I forget what level it is called though.. something like "the statue of Nightmares or something. i remember the music was so scary.
