Complaint About the Staff

If VIP leaves, I honestly don't know who will replace him. No offense to anyone, but the active members here aren't ready for a admin spot... Unless maybe Ama comes back, bur I don't think she cares for the forum. And With these projects taking this long, sometimes I think we should just end them... Of course I don't want that, but I guess it's better than things not getting done. And I have a few ideas for GMod.

I don't think anybody's ready for an Admin spot either. The staff needs to go back to what it was, that's when the forum was active (or at least more active). I just hope the admins finally notice and fix the forum.
 
Hmm, I have no problems with You being GMod Chubbo (since I feel you have grown and become a very respectful person) but I'm not sure bout Berry or Ether. Why? Well for Ether, he doesn't seem to really care about this site much since he's not a MP fan anymore, he'd be a good addition though. And for Berry, well, he didn't do his job well. I feel like he got kept on the staff just cuz he complained... (no offense to Berry)

Thank you for the compliment :). I see what you mean, they are better off being members than staff. I noticed Ether doesn't care much anymore and, no offense, Berrylarry wasn't doing anything. I don't try to sound mean, they are great members with JxT's fan fics and Berrylarry's love for Chicago (Bears suck ;D) I just want everything up and running, SZ might be busy, but this forum is back to near-death and is in need of help. I tried with the layouts to help keep people on (if that helped). I still have a few more layouts left.

Also, the rules on the forum make it even harder to post and basically discourages people to post ( this could be why it's dying or is dead):

I can see for numbers 5, 6 and 9, but sometimes off-topic posts help fuel up a conversation. If there is, make a new topic for it or post in the right board about that topic in your conversation you are talking about, if you get what I mean. I doubt anyone cares about 1 or 2 worded posts, the posts in general just answer the topic's question, I don't see how a post has to keep conversation going, we are just going by the topic. The rules need to loosen up on the posting imo.
 
I can understand that the 8th rule is a little harsh. I mean, one off topic post isn't going to kill anyone. The only way I can see it's ban is if it happens ALL the time. But otherwise, I think it's OK. And I was thinking of this staff list:

Admins: SuperZambezi, HJ, Ama, Cook
Global Moderators: MLYW, Sushi Boy, Ryuox, Chubbo
Moderators: None.

Even though that's 1 increase, I think Ama and Cook could help the site greatly since they always have great ideas.

I clearly stated THINKING and said that she doesn't go on much. But if she did go on more, I think she should be a admin... i'm just saying. I think Ama and Cook are on the same train as Aegis and TT though...
 
If VIP gets the boot as admin, then I will come back by all means.

As long as he's admin here, I will be inactive.

I'm sorry I haven't been as active. Things just have been hectic and my charger broke again.. I at least get on once a day though. I just don't have the drive for CK like everyone else. I'll try to be a little more active from now on.

As for this Vip thing with Aegis. Every since Aegis joined, there has always been some little kid reporting him and hating just because he either swore or put some off color joke. My god people they are only WORDS!!! This all goes back to Joeys idiotic rule of no swearing.. I mean come on just because he doesn't do it doesn't mean the whole world doesn't. Also we need to put it through these noob kids head that they have to deal with the older members. All the drama on here is always caused by these idiots.

As for the rules, we need a revamp badly. Going off topic once in a while is not that bad. Like HBK said they can help fuel the conversation. Now i don't know if de-admining Vip is the answer here but just because someone keeps reporting someone is no reason to warn them. If they keep doing it pm them telling them to stop because the member isn't doing anything. If they continue, warn THEM for abuse of the reporting system.
