I didn't know this until the first time I watched this video which was like probably sometime in 2007 or 2008.

I've seen that a few times before. I didn't think it'd sound similar, but it was very faint.

Yup, just used Audacity on it, and it's Bowser's Laugh from SM64. Really, it's very eerie and weird that all these years (except for now =P) they would use an old laugh on SM64. But they changed Boo's voice now, so I wonder the secret behind that. =P But it actually sounds like laughter unlike the old Boo laugh.

I've never noticed that. I'm surprised they'd do that and I had no idea it would sound like Bowser's laugh.

Techincally, the boss is named Shrowser due to the Elder Princess Shroob using the last of her energy to get inside Bowser.

But unlike in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Bowser doesn't get a different appearance here in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, instead he's just shaded with purple. And that Elder Princess Shroob controls what Bowser does using hand gestures(i'm assuming she is anyway).


But yeah. In short. It's Bowser.
