It is said that nintendo spend 4 years to make it, does that mean that they didn't start it recently?

Plus Hudson Soft did not make this one Nd Cube did so that's it for Hudson?

Yeah Zambezi states that those from Hudson went to ND Cube so if Nintendo and Nd Cube are working together then lets hope they make a good Mario Party as usual. (not like 8 though)

I recall SZ posting something a year and a bit ago (or was it Aegis?) saying MP9 was finally started in production.

btw please avoid using wikis as sources of information for stuff like MP9, unless their original citation/source is reputable.

This is just a speculation, but I think the 4 years in between were more for the Wii games of;

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Power Tennis Wii
Mario 25th Anniversary Bundle
I think I missed a few, but still...

Er, that was me. Check the history of the page. >___> I know that the developers must have been making something else besides Mario Party during those 4 years, but I had to keep it scarce/general as possible.

Also, Nd Cube did make Wii Party. In case people didn't hear me before, the Mario Party employees at Hudson Soft moved over the Nd Cube WITH the former president of Hudson. It is still the same team. However, it is possible that both of the companies are working on it as well. The source I provided gives a clue, but I can't seem to find the one source that said something about the Mario Party employees exactly.

Now technically speaking, 4 years of waiting has not even passed yet since the release of Mario Party DS. MPDS was released in November 2007. Though this game is probably gonna come out sometime next year which will eventually cross to 4 years.
