They give new ones out on spotpass everyday, love it. And thanks Kinetic but they just give you some stickers stuff for pokemon you have and if you don't have them it shows up as "unknown". Maybe they'll add other generations through an update, if you scroll all the way down there's a button that says update.
If you look at the legendary pokemon ar codes you get them in your pokedex.
