Do you think the use of 3D effects should be required, or a at least heavily implemented into the game? Should minigames require that you use 3D in order for them to function properly?

I say no. Mostly because the 3D System is a big "F**k You" to people with Glasses. ;D
I think it would be great if they made more noticeable 3D effects in the game, but I don't like the idea of making the 3D mandatory. It starts to hurt my eyes after about 40 minutes, and I would hate to have to put the game down that soon. Maybe only make the mini-games 3D mandatory.

Make the whole thing appealing for those who can handle it and perhaps make some of the mini-games require the slider being turned up, at least those that can be put into their own optional group like the Mic mini-games in Mario Party 6/7.

I find that using 3D gets really annoying if you use it so many times.
When I do use 3D, I'm always finding it worthless anyways (hardly notice the 3D effect), or else just making a blur on the screen.

No, please. The 3D is cool and everything (mostly when you first get the system), but all it does is irritate my eyes.

Absolutely not. Like others say, it can irritate eyes and give you headaches if used for an extended period of time (which is why the games advises you to take a break every now and then). Maybe, if there is a Mini-Game Mode where 3D is required to use. That would be fine, as long as none of it makes it in with Story/Solo/Party Modes.

Not really, it DOESN'T have to be required for all sessions. It can cause health issues to some gamers like the last few posts said.
I use mine frequently, but it is recommended to take breaks after 15-20 minutes each session. I hope this game advises everyone to take a break during play.

I don't think 3D should be required because no one uses 3D in their 3DS anymore, I don't use it when I play MK7.
It would be cool for certain minigames and stuff, so you won't have to play it like that all the time. It starts to hurt your eyes. :|
3D is annoying as hell for me , if they did something like SZ said there's no chance I buy it.
Well I don't see any problems with using the 3D effects as I actually like these somehow and I can endure these. All the time? Maybe not. But occasionally, sure, why not? I'm for it, I guess. After all, it's not named "3DS" for nothing, hence the 3D effects but yeah, it must just not be all the time though because I don't use it 100% of the time, but almost all the time though... but it would be a nice touch to have in some minigames and modes, in my opinion, but I'm okay even if it's not as "implemented" as long as I can have a good 3D effect while playing. when I feel like playing with the 3D.
I hope not. The 3D effect is hard on the eyes, especially if you wear glasses.
I believe it shouldn't be required. The 3D bothers me when playing because I can't keep the image still.
Pretty sure that 3D being required is out of the question due to it being unable to be played by anyone 6(I think is the age) or younger, and with the 2DS now I can safely say it won't be required.
