Paper Mario: Color Splash has an Amazon listing for a “Standard Edition” of the game, implying that there may be multiple editions. Given Nintendo’s recent initiative to include amiibo support in their new releases, could this signal a bundle of sorts, specifically for a Paper Mario amiibo?
However, a quick look at Amazon’s other listings for Wii U games reveals that this title has been used on games like Devil’s Third, Minecraft: Wii U Edition, and even the upcoming Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. It’s also interesting to note that games like Mario Party 10 do not have this “Standard Edition” title, despite having a second bundle with an amiibo packaged inside.
Do you think this is anything of note? Would you like to see a line of Paper Mario amiibo regardless? Let us know in the comments!
