The day Japanese have been waiting for, Saturday, December 8, 2012, has finally come! Nintendo of Japan has now launched the new Nintendo home console, the Wii U, and its slew of Wii U launch games, including the launch of New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land! Grab your console and your anticipated Wii U launch games and start playing!
The Wii U in Japan will run you ¥26,250 for the White – Basic Set (8GB) or ¥31,500 for the Black – Deluxe Set (32GB) with Nintendo Land included. New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land will both run you about ¥6,000 each, either in retail or digital. If you go digital, then New Super Mario Bros. U will take up 2GB and Nintendo Land will take up 3.2GB (Warning: Nintendo Land will NOT fit in Wii U Basic Set).
As most of you are leaning towards the Deluxe Set, you should have no problem. It is also worthy to note that a USB drive is recommended if you plan to download a lot. We plan to have guides and secrets up shortly for New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land, along with Paper Mario: Sticker Star, which is now complete! Enjoy your new Wii U console and games, especially New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land!
