Opening Sequence and End Results Videos

The opening sequence that was seen in the trailer we get a few days ago has now been expanded and given a few more details, thanks to marioparty.de. The opening is a bit longer than previously thought and even includes the first two bosses of the game, Wiggler and Lakitu. Unfortunatly, the two secret characters also appeared in the opening, but marioparty.de had to cut them out due to an embargo and other retrictions.

In addition to the opening, we also get to see the end results screen as well as announcing the winner after a match of Party Mode. It is nothing too crazy, but we do see that the player that earns the most Mini-Stars gets a single Golden Star.

Other things to note:

    • No Classic Mode
    • Only Car Mode
    • No Coins
    • No Items (Only Dice Blocks)
    • No Normal Stars

Bit surprised at the lack of items or coins, but I don’t particularly mind. Looks like an absolutely fantastic game. ^_^

Dude, there are items, its the different dice blocks. Only three and plus the first Mario Party games didn’t have items.

yeah it looks awesome. The part that Bowser is juggling with the mini-stars and bowser JR came, that part was awesome. I really look forward to the game. 🙂

I agree with most of what you said, I’m still getting the game, then I only have to play the 3rd…

Looking at the Party Mode ending video – there are only 3 players! I wonder what that’s about. Perhaps we can choose to not have computer scores counted – just throw them in during the game, but ignore their final result. Who knows…
