Is Goomba's Booty Boardwalk a Rip-Off of Pagoda Peak?

Pagoda Peak is the first game boards introduced in Mario Party to not go in loops. It's a great game board that has many good places for happening spaces to be used. It's one of the game boards that I play with other people more often than other game boards.

Goomba's Booty Boardwalk is practically a cheap, easier version of Pagoda Peak. It goes straight, there a many dolphins that bring you ahead (just like the cannon orb), and right around the end is a connon that fires you back to the start.

Yes, It's explained above.

Short answer... No

Different events, different visual, different theme, different way for getting stars, completely different board. The only thing that's the same is it being a one-track path.
This is like saying every single classic board (star randomly moving around) is a rip-off of DK's Jungle Adventure from MP1.

However, I still prefer Pagoda Peak.

It's not a rip-off, but it DOES have the same formula; walk to the end of the path and get a star. I agree it's not rip-off, but it's sort of similar.

I choose Pagoda Peak over Goomba's Booty Boardwalk anyday. And no. The board isn't a rip-off like everyone has already stated. Just adding a concept from a previous board into a new one.

Wouldn't say it's a rip off because Goomba's Booty Walk is just going straight north while in Pagoda Peak, you climb up.  It does have a similar feel to it, though.  Both being one-way boards and starting back to the start place.  You have to pay for stars once you get to the top of the peak while you don't in boardwalk.  You can pay for dolphins to ride up to the Goomba quicker, though.

I prefer Pagoda Peak over Goomba's Booty Boardwalk.

Well, I think Mario Party in general has a lot of similarities. Most boards have a  :?space: that brings you to another space. They're made original based on how the :?space: looks when you land on it though. If you don't think most boards are rip offs, then you probably don't think this stage is a rip off.
