I was thinking the cannon one had something to do with bullet bill, or bill launchers, and the pan and spear have something to do with shy guy (being spear guy or gourmet guy) not sure though on like any of these. This obviously is an H-J test.

I think D-2 has to do with the Mario Party 7 mini-game "World Piece" because in that mini-game you and your partner have to match two pieces to make the shape in the middle. D-2 shows a jigsaw puzzle of our World and there is one missing piece.

I don't know about the others...

A-1 is related to Majora's Mask - that song shown is the Song of Double Time - a secret one which makes time fly by to the next day or night!

Well, I guess then, that D2 is a Boo in a Box, B3 ends in ival I guess, C3 has two L's, I, C, E, O and a D, D1 is like a caged up shine or something. So there's my terrible contributions.

Well - I think you helped me realized these have to relate to the Stars and Shine Sprites of the Mario games.

...dang, there's over 603 choices then O_O

...BTW - C2 looks like the A-maze-ing Emergency Exit  from SM64 - Hazy Maze Cave
