Boo is the tenth character of the Mario Party Series. His primary colors are white and turquoise. Boo became playable in Mario Party 4. In Mario Parties 1 – 4 he had his own space where characters could steal coins or stars from other players. In Mario Party 5, Chain Chomp took over Boo’s job of stealing. His stealing space came back in Mario Party 6, during night when you pass his space you could steal coins or a star, but that was Pink Boo. Boo was one of the 6 hosts in Mario Party 4. He hosted his own board called Boo’s Haunted Bash. In Mario Party 7, his primary partner is Dry Bones and his Special Orb is the Magic Orb, which allows you to turn invisible, avoiding traps and double your dice roll for two turns.
The Boo (originally known as Boo Diddley) is a common enemy in the Mario series that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. They are a type of white spherical ghost with menacing and constantly open mouths and also small “arms” of some sort. Goombario’s tattle for the Boo, Igor in Paper Mario states: “He probably was a merchant before he became a Boo,” implying that current Boos may have once been living beings.
Quote: “Ghosts… …don’t… …DIE! Heh, heh, heh! Can you get out of here… …alive?”
