Our Shadow-Play Alley stars guide details every Green Star in World 2-3 in our Super Mario 3D World stars walkthrough.

World 2-3 contains three Green Stars and a single Stamp to collect. If you’re looking for other Green Stars or stamps from World 2, as well as any Cat Shines from Bowser’s Fury, head on over to these pages:

Green Star #1

The first Green Star can be seen as shadow near the star of the level. Simply head down towards the Green Star to find it!

Green Star #2

While holding on the sleeping Piranha Plants, have it each up all the pink enemies in the wall. Once you make a clearance, head through and enter the Warp Block. Hit the switch and quickly drop to the ground. You’ll see the shadow of the Green Star in a small hole on the side of the platform.

Green Star #3

Before you enter the last door that takes you to the flagpole, head to the right to find another room with Captain Toad cowering in front of a shadow of Bowser. Head to the back of the room and destroy the wooden Bowser decoy to have Captain Toad give you a Green Star.

Stamp Location

Super Bell, Fire Flower, or Super Leaf required! When you come across the giant Piranha Plant in the shadows area, drop down into the small hole and break through the wooden crates to find the Stamp.
