Mini Star #1
Start off by walking through the peaceful woods. Notice anything? The further you go in, the bigger everything gets! This means you’ll find “Big” versions of cards, but you’ll also encounter giant Goombas. Fight it off (use powerful cards!) and then break the giant brick blocks to get to the next area.
The next area has a lot of bricks you can tear apart. Going into the next area on the right will lead to giant colorless coin. Too bad you can’t paint it in, you’ll just have to leave this chunk of gold behind. Go back to the previous area and tear through the blocks to find colorless spots and an exit going north.
As usual, Kamek is up to nothing good, and you’ll see it first hand. The poor short Goomba is now a giant one that messes up the path. Walk over to it, drop down to the area below, and fight! After the battle and with the path straightened out, pull on the second bridge to get yourself back to the starting point. Walk across the now straight path.
Get into the final area and you’ll find the professor at the top of the area. Break the brick block from beneath and speak to him as he lays motionless on the floor. Princess is lost, but a quick mention that she might be waiting back home gets the professor back on his feet! This can only end well! Walk over to the right and grab the green Mini Star to unlock the Sacred Forest. But you’re not heading there just yet, go back to Chateau Chanterelle instead!
Mini Star #2
Return to Mondo Woods after earning the second Big Paint Star. Go all the way to the right and back to the giant coin. Collect your hard earned money, then grab the Mini Star to unlock Dark Bloo Inn!
