Mario Party Advance

Mario Party Advance is the first handheld game in the series and is primarily focused on single player gameplay, all on the Game Boy Advance.

Instead of the usual four player shenanigans where each player takes turns collecting coins and purchasing stars, Mario Party Advance focused on just one player as they moved around the board completing quests and minigames. Tumble, Toadette, Professor E. Gadd, and Toad run the show as a small roster of playable characters interact with a large cast of citizens of Shroom City. As the only player on the board, each turn lets you roll a dice block as you move your car across the map. You’re limited to the number of rolls you have left, but strategic movement on the board allows for additional rolls.
