With the NX coming, the Wii U's life is coming to an end, so I thought that now would be a great time to post our top3 Wii U games and our reasons why, since the only big games left to release are Paper Mario: Color Splash, that I highly doubt will be in anyone's top list seeing most people's reaction and the similarities to Sticker Star, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is cross platform and will for sure have a bigger focus on the NX version.
My personal Top3 are:
3. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - A great platformer filled with clever, memorable and challanging levels. This game is not only my favorite platformer on Wii U but my favorite platformer ever. The world and levels are unique and fell new and fresh, the graphics are great and the backgrounds on the levels are outstanding, sometimes I didn't even play the game, I just stood still and looked at level's background, and the soundtrack is easily one of the best I've heard in a videogame.
2. Pikmin 3 - It is one of the most charming and relaxing experiences in a videogame, in my opinion. I loved that I could just sit back on my couch and I'd feel relaxed while playing this game. I personally love Nature and exploring new enviroments, so I felt right at home while exploring Pikmin 3's world. The music really fits the enviroments which adds to the experience and the game has great boss battles that will make you fear to lose Pikmin which I really like, being this such a calm game it's also great to have some intense moments like these that really mean danger to you and that's how a boss battle should always feel like. On top of it all it also has one of the greatest multiplayer modes, ones that I spent way too much time playing.
1. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Arguably the best Smash Bros. ever created. I've spent so much time playing this game it's unbelievable. I've been playing this game at least every week I could since it's release, I've recently checked the time I've played it so far on the Wii U's daily log and it was around 430 hours total, that's by far more than any other game I've played and it only shows how great it is for keeping me going back to it. For me, it has perfect gameplay and content and characters that are good in both quantity and quality.
