Which GCN Mario Party offers messing around the most?

I only have number 5, and I have four GameCube controllers. By "messing around", I don't mean cheating devices. I mean setting up 4 players, choosing a minigame and controlling all four players at once. Like this guy: Mario Party 6 - 4 Controllers. 1 Player

Or, trying to see how many points I can get by myself, like this guy: Mario Party 4 - Butterfly Blitz 106 pts.

A third way is seeing what happens in a draw, like this: Mario Party 5 - Defuse or Lose Draw

Move this to my board if needed.

I have 4 Wii Remotes, but I feel like I did everything on MP8 and MP9.

Well, I'd personally recommend Mario Party 6 for messing around in minigames or it's mic mode. Or if you really wanna get fancy, you could use 8 players in Mario Party 7. I know I messed around with deluxe mode in MP7. Generally, all four of them will do.
