In my personal opinion I loved to death Super Mario 3D World with it's music, gameplay, new mechanics and easy controls. While people often say "Mario games are way too easier for my l33t no skope skills" any of us who made it past World Bowser knows that there's definately a difficulty jump in platforming. The music was sensationial and I'm not one for graphics however on most levels the graphics are top in class. Then there's the little details such as see the rain on the camera and you're characters waterlogged. While the platforming is much harder then most bosses I'm suprised and joyed that we've had no fight or even hearing of Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings which I'm glad for since you can only make them bosses in so many games. Super Mario 3D World had a much different story then the averge plumber saving princess story but we're still stuck with Bowser for our final boss rather then what everyone thought the suprise return of Wart of even a new villian for the Sprixie Kingdom. Even though Bowser's new "Meowzer" form was a great change from the usual digs I felt we would get a new final boss and for some odd reason I thought the guy (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) who looked a bit like Marx from Kirby and transformed into a giant clown could've been good final booss material if you tweaked his move set a bit since he would fit in with the "magical" tone. While it may not beat the cult classics such as Super Mario 64 it's a close runner-up to it so I'm rating the Single Player a 4.5 the Multiplayer a 4.8 of 5 stars, but now I want to know what you think of this masterpiece! Super Mario 3D World is the perfect game from Nintendo that can even woo your non Mario fan friends to play with you!
