The Disney Renaissance: Truly Remarkable or Overrated?

Ah, the Disney Renaissance: one the most well-known and successful (both critically and commercially) years of Disney in recent memory. Hell, "Beauty and the Beast" got an Academy Award for Best Picture. But are the films from the Disney Renaissance overrated? Personally, I think some are more overrated than others; it just depends on the film.

To be honest, yes, some are really overrated, I can't tell which one since there are many movies out there from Disney.

Well, the Disney Renaissance was from 1989 to 1999.

1989 - The Little Mermaid
1990 - The Rescuers Down Under
1991 - Beauty and the Beast
1992 - Aladdin
1994 - The Lion King
1995 - Pocahontas
1996 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame
1997 - Hercules
1998 - Mulan
1999 - Tarzan

Don't ask why I memorized the years each Disney film was released.
