Thanksgiving 2013

I sure do celebrate Thanksgiving. Every year, what is placed on our plate is an ornament for use on the Christmas Tree. We say grace, and then we get our food from the counter. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, peas, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, bread rolls, and bell peppers. For dessert, we have apple pie, pumpkin pie, and chocolate pie. Every year we have these foods. We also have coffee cake for breakfast, which is one of our traditions. And played a couple of card games with my aunt and my sister's boyfriend.

It was just my Mom and I. In the morning, we bought ourselves iced coffees to savor throughout the day. We had dumpling and butterscotch dessert for lunch and dinner. It was very filling and very tasty. =)
Nice to see you had a wonderful time with your mother. But why just you and her? What happened to the rest of your family (immediate and not)?

My brother is no longer speaking to us and my sister's a bitch, living in California anyway (I've told the story). Beside that, our family is pretty much divided, which I'm perfectly fine with. Most of them are just worthless assholes anyway.

You bet I celebrate Thanksgiving! As tradition says, everyone who can come on the maternal side of my family shows up on Wednesday, making dinner for ten for the first time this year; prayers are said, then we all eat our early dinner at a separate table for the kids(4). After that, we played some Mario Kart Wii. I would've bested them in every possible way, but we only have two controllers, but that's about to change...heh heh. 8)
