I'm just gonna make this topic because streaming is pretty popular and I wanted to bring up discussion. Share a stream, talk about Twitch and Youtube Gaming, streams in general, etc.

I'm gonna start this and say Youtube Gaming is trash compared to Twitch imo.

I prefer youtube streams to see without "stops"
But i prefer Twitch to see the chat LMAO

I favor Twitch's interface. YTG doesn't do much to improve. I guess I'm exaggerating, but I simply have no reason to go on YTG because it's almost like they took the streaming feature out of YT and made it it's own thing. I personally believe the streaming community will stick to Twitch. In a way, Twitch feels much more natural for streaming purposes compared time Google's attempt.

I think Twitch chats are awful, too. That's a bit of a wash.

Whenever I see a twitch chat, most of it is just usually fans just trying to get said streamer's attention along with them trying to show them something they made(for example, Vinesauce Vinny's Super Mario Maker streams). YouTube chats are awful. The first one I saw had people constantly spamming emoticons and asking said streamer(Mike Matei of Cinemassacre) to do fucking disgusting things. There's a clear difference here to me.

I don't get why anyone would have chat up in the first place, honestly. You're not going to get intelligent discussion there.
