SMASH ULTRA VS. PROJECT M (Difference)

So let's see, music, now PM uses other peoples'/users content and fan made music, and don't make it themselves, they replicate gameplay mechanics similar to Melee's, and further more, no different models to show in the portrait, HQ models.

Smash Ultra, custom remixes and compositions, including team ups with some of the biggest YouTube gamers such as Game Grumps, Markiplier, Gaijin Goombah, etc. Different models, HQ, in the selection portraits, different gameplay feel, and mechanics far from Melee, Brawl, and even Wii U and 3DS. All characters have different overpowered abilities which makes the project feel different.

I'm not saying PM is a bad project, it's just my competition, and I'm using the Name Calling technique. If you like Project M, I respect your opinion; I just have my own since it is competition, it only has more players because they continuously release more versions, and the games been a thing longer than Smash Ultra; I don't release Smash Ultra until it's 100% complete

...and as a result you won't have a core player base for feedback until final release

Also you're a one man team for move set coding (at least that's what it sounds like) going against a backroom of P:M devs

What is your design philosophy? If it's just "be completely not Smash and be overpowered" or "competing with PM by being nothing like it" I would suggest collaborating with your connections and have a more well grounded, unifying design philosophy. Remember you want to make this for the players as an ultimate intention.

^^ H-J speaks the truth. People like Melee, so they got PM. What do people want that Smash Ultra has to offer? The only thing I see needing improving so far in the actual game are the models. They're kinda unpolished imo. Also what happened to some of the characters? Black and Red Kirby with googly eyes? Derpy blue Pikachu? I'm not trying to sound mean, but are these original characters? I don't really think hand-made skins can define this from PM.

I'm not a one man team, I am working with some of the best modders and coders, including some composers who do some great music compositions.

That's the thing; I try my best to put humor in my project, so even the most hardcore Smash players have a great time even if they lose, competitive, but humorous at the same time.

Do you have the support or at least have some contact with who would be considered top level competitive Smashers?

Also I just noticed there was no mention of stage designers

I have someone who composed the main theme, Matthew99 is his name, and he's a good friend of mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoYLeyYowU0

My friend Russmarrs2 works on most of the model imports, and I work on Remixes from game installments; PKsparkxx said he will play it as soon as it's released, as well as BluRacer7. I have a decent list of more people on the team, ShadowLuigi~NG~, MetalYoshi GuitarPro, Marioman574, ToadStool, etc.

It's more of me getting this project to the same level of hype as PM, not much of it being to make this project better.
So you're a snake oil salesman.
