Service Hours

[cookieboy17]

Am I the only one who's school requires students to do service hours?

I have to do 15 hours for junior year and a whooping 70 for senior year. I have 5 done so far for my junior year and im working on mire atm doing a parent teacher conference.

At my high school we had to do 20 per year all four years. I think they're going overboard with 70. Jesus

[cookieboy17]

Well we didnt have to do anything for freshman or sophomore year but yeah the 70 hours is overboard, like I'm gonna have to sign up sonewhere to do service weekly.

I have to do.... 0 hours as far as I'm aware of, although if I do them I only get benefits(and the drawback of being bored as fuck, depending on what I do)

[Troll]

40 hours over the course of 4 years. Plus add 10 for Grade 12 religion, I believe.

[Vipsoccermaster]

I had to do about 28 hours for my health class in my freshman year. It wasn't too bad, got it over with easily in the first semester.

I know we had community service through years 9through 12, but I never knew how many actual hours were needed. I'm under the impression that we had more hours in 9/10.

I have to do 18 hours because I'm on financial aid

[CaptainShyguy]

I've never heard about his in my school, so no.

[Yoshi1]

I don't have to do anything. Lucky me.

[Chubbo1793]

We don't have this at our school, or at least I've never heard of it.

[kinetic563]

Nope. I don't believe the schools I went to did this. Never really heard of it in schools either.
