Oh God, why am I even making this?

Anyway, has anyone here played this or any of the other Puyo games? The series itself is where Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Kirby's Avanlache origined. It's where you haveto connect puyos and make chains to send them nuisance puyo. Uhh, just ask a question and I'll to explain it better. =P You can also take about Kirby Avalanche and Robotnik's Bean Machine...

So discuss. =P

Never played Puyo Puyo before. But I've seen many images and a few videos of it.

I'm not a fan of puzzle games though. But when I'm in the mood I'll play them. The most notable puzzle games I've played were Dr. Mario 64 and Pokemon Puzzle League for N64 and GBC.

I've played Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine before as well, but I thought that one was just lousy.

The difference is that Dr. Mario was actually fun and addicting. Puyo Puyo is too easy, therefore it lacks challenge and is out of my interest. Mean Bean Machine made it more fun by adding in the challenge factor and not being so cheap with the clear beans.

Also, just because Puyo Puyo was inspired by Dr. Mario doesn't mean it's a rip-off. God, i'm so sick of hearing that arguement. >.<

Puyo is far more addicting then Dr. Mario to me anyway. Puyo is more fun if you want to make god chains, and with alot of modes, it just seems more fun. And I agree with the rip-off thing, Puyo Puyo is not a rip-off... some people are so slow.

That's the problem, though. All of the added gimmicks basically give you the match. Mean Bean Machine doesn't give up that easily on you.

Well, yeah. That is true, Puyo can't beat Mean Bean Machine. But c'mon, you have to admit that Puyo Puyo still is OK atleast. =P

It's OKAY, but it's not my choice of game. =P
