I was thinking one day, we already know the Gen 3 remakes are upon us, but then it dawned on me: Why not make R/S on the 3DS/DS, and Emerald on the Wii U? Think of the features:
- Two players, each with a Wii U tablet, going through individual Pokemon Journeys, sharing the world, being able to directly interact, with the TV serving as a special union room
- A story where each player goes and aids either Team Aqua or Magma to make a new tale from an old book
- Each player being able to catch specific pokemon, enabling all Hoen pokemon to be in one game
- Connectivity to the 3DS games, allowing importing of pokemon, items, etc.
