Phantom Hourglass vs Spirit Tracks

Please note that while I will play through their story modes, I'm mostly getting them for their battle modes. I mostly get 2 players with my brother, but I might get 3 or 4 players every once in a while with friends.

I also have an internet connection, so I can go online with Phantom Hourglass.

(As a side note, Phantom Hourglass is 2 players only and has online play. Spirit Tracks is up to 4 players and has no online play.)

I've only played Spirit Tracks, a very short game, and I can only guess that PH is as well, but they aren't too spectacular.

If we are lucky, we might each find used copies of both games. I found an used copy of Mario Party 8 during January 2012, four years after MP8 came out. Phantom Hourglass came out during October 2007. Spirit Tracks came out during December 2009. There's still hope!

You should find both games used, I see those games used all the time.

I prefer Phantom Hourglass- and if you want to understand the chronogical plot, you have to play it first, since Phantom Hourglass's event happened first.

I liked both, they were pretty good in my opinion. PH though was better imo. Since it's also a direct sequel to Wind Waker, it makes it more special, while ST, it's a different Toon Link and Zelda.

Spirit Tracks took everything that made Phantom Hourglass good, and made it so much better. Dungeons, puzzles, story, music, themes, etc.

Both of them are horrible.

Not only do I hate the weird cartoon art style it's in I like neither of them...

I would prefer the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

To be honest, I prefer Spirit Tracks (though that might be due to the fact that I played through that game more than Phantom Hourglass).

However, if we were to add WindWaker into the mix, then that game would be the clear winner in my opinion.
