People Leaving?

I think part of the problem is that many of these posts here are total spam, and the Mods (no offense) don't recognize it and correct it. Flaming's not really a problem here. It's just spam.

I just think the place is kinda boring, but I'll still hang out here, nevertheless.  =P

I think we need people to have more content in their posts.  I mean seriously...

MIRS FOR ADM-*brick'd*

But yeah, seriously. People really need to lighten up on such minor issues too, such as swearing. Shit is censored, so why the heck are people complaining if SHAT comes up. It doesn't make any sense.

It's kind of sad when some users only go on for a day or less, and then they leave for good. Maybe we should work on a slogan.

YES PEOPLE. WE MUST FORGET THE SPAMMY POSTS AND LOW ACTIVITY. WE REALLY MUST WORK ON THE SLOGAN. THIS GUY'S A GENIUS! GGEEEEENNNNIIIUUSSSS.

That he...is a she.

There's no real spark in this forum. No one really has a colorful personality to make jokes. No one has a valid opinion except JxT. And I hate to say it but that post above me has more intelligence than half the posts here despite how dumb it looks. :p

IF IT'S AN INTENTIONAL POST THEN IT'S KIND OF NEEDED, COOK. YOU NEED TO LEARN THIS STUFF, MAN. MAAAAAAN.:p

But seriously, having spammy posts kind of has an upside. I'm one of the more intelligent people on this forum, which makes me vvveeerrryyyyy happy. :p

Wow I'm pretty sure that that was the stupidest thing I've ever read on here.. If it's anything it's because of idiots making dumb non relevant jokes..

Which post are you talking about?

The Quote button is your friend.

People leave because they:
1. Forget the URL of the site (most common)
2. Lose interest (common)
3. Probably find the target audience too young, and thus not suitable for serious discussion (common?)
4. Can't put up with others showing antisocial online behaviour (not so much)
5. Have no time (common)

People are leaving cause people are making jokes? Can someone actually give me a legit answer other than Aegis and Mirs?

Nope. This forum has been sucked dry of humor that anybody who makes a harmless joke gets hunted down like Jews in Nazi Germany.

1. Uh, what? People who have been here for at least 2 months won't forget the URL Address. :/
2. There is not a lot of post activity here, so it's possible.
3. DING DING DING. Exactly why this forum is somewhat slowing down. We have had the Serious Discussion Board now for more than 2 weeks now. Only 3 topics (2 of them mine) have emerged. Either the target audience doesn't care for normal conversation or they aren't intelligent enough yet to know what some of the older members are talking.
4. Um, i've seen people complain about me on the FIRST DAY I ARRIVED. So, don't underestimate that.
5. What is irl lulz

I barely see any activity outside Forum Games. Probably the occasional post or two. It's kind of sad, really.

I'm not leaving. I'm just coming on less.

1. If people know the internet, they bookmark pages they like.
2. I can understand that
3. Meh. It's there choice. This is a "Mario Party" website. What else should they expect?
4. That's a big word but thank God I know it :p I don't really think so though
5. I'm sorry but people regardless of what they do, are able to do this for at least an hour or else they are way busy. People just don't want to do it for that long.

But yeah, I just pull up the site, skim though, then get back to work, maybe post some, like now.  =P

Wait...what work? :p

Obviously, just work. There's no excuse. :p LOL

1. That might be true for new members, but common members can say the site URL in their sleep. I know I did.
2. Agreed. Besides, Mario Party 9 may never see the light of day.
3. Yeah, there's only, like, a handful of people younger than the age of 13 (and most that can take on the content that we embrace every day) so swearing, references to mature content, et cetera, should be allowed (but to a certain extent so that the kids that are offended by the content won't go irate over it).
4. At first, I didn't like Aegis and CookieBoy (due to their 4chan and ED background), but now I'm kind of accepting them, although I'm mildly against those realms of the Internet.
5. In some cases, yes; other cases, no.
