Nintendo WiFi connection to be shut down on May 20, 2014

Well if it's that bad I wouldn't even be sad about it being taken down.

I'm not sad about it. But Mario Kart Wii has solid online play. That will be missed.

Also, this is a great way to get people to jump on board the Wii U and MK8. They didn't pick a week before the game releases for no reason.

Apparently they've been preparing for this for some time and are trying to make a new one... at least that's what I've heard.

It definitely gets 3 frames per second though. The last time I played (with Timmy and Staryu) it got to that point.

It was cuz you had bad connection lol The time me and Timmy played with you, we'd never lag THAT BAD when playing with each other. Back then, our connections were very good when playing Brawl.

Only recently has there been more lag (not HJ lag), but lag nonetheless.

I'm not really fussed, I rarely played online and if I was it would've been Mario Kart Wii. I guess I'll be playing some Mario Kart online now.

Well, it's finally happened, a few hours ago. No more online gaming for Wii and DS games. It's time to move on to Nintendo Network for Wii U and 3DS now.

I'll miss playing Mario Kart Wii online. But I'll be playing Mario Kart 8 online soon so it's not that bad :-D.
