Hey! Ever hear if Newer Super Mario Bros Wii? It's a hack of New Super Mario Bros Wii with new courses, items, and worlds! Definitely a great game to get!

Below is a tutorial on how to get it.


What you need:
- 2+ GB SD Card
-New Super Mario Bros Wii Disc
-Place for SD card on your computer


Steps:

1. Put your SD Card in your computer.
2. Go to the letterbomb website here. Put in your Wii's MAC Address (found in System Settings), finish the anti-spam question(s), and cut the red wire. (NOTE: MAKE SURE THE "BUNDLE THE HACKMII INSTALLER" IS CHECKED!)
3. Open these files in your computer. One of them says "private". Rename it to "private_old".
4. Extract all of these files to your SD card (either remove and place or the extract button near the top of your computer screen)
5. Download riivolution from here. Obviously, extract all files to the SD card.
6. Create an "apps" folder in the SD Card. Copy (also have a copy) the riivolution contents into the "apps" folder.
7. Download the Newer part here. Extract to both the apps folder and the SD Card.
8. Put the SD Card into the Wii, scroll back a few days, and viola! Download homebrew and bootmii on there and enjoy Newer!
 
I love this game! The creators must've put in a lot of effort in. I remeber back when I was younger watching the trailer and always waiting, and finally, here it is. I really like the world map, and that that there's tons of levels. The music is great coming from being fan-made. I could go on and on about their ngs like the return of the Hammer Suit, but I'll just say this game what Nintendo could have done with the NSMB series. I would recommend getting this because this totally outshines the blandness of the NSMB series.
 
I don't have it but I like the hammer bro suit they put in the game

Yes, Homebrew is necessary. On the site they have here, they give you many scenarios (i.e. if you have Homebrew or not) and the way to get Homebrew is pretty easy and straightfoward. There will also be an app called Riivolution necessary IN Homebrew so that you can actually play the game modded. :p

Getting it on the Wii U is another story and there are 2 methods but the 2nd method is not recommended (read for yourself why). =P

Also to anyone playing (and you need guidance on Star Coins or Secret Exits) then feel free to watch my playthrough here!
(FYI this was my first official playthrough and so my editing skills were kinda lame back then lol)

As Timmy said, there are different ways to get it, but the easiest way is the 1st post I made.
However, in my opinion it is easier to play it on the Wii. :p

My Wii is broken so I can't play it on the wii. I guess I'll just stick with New SMBW. It's still a great game.
