New modes?

It has been confirmed that Toad Scramble is not the only mode coming to Mario Party: Star Rush, although it is the main. What other modes would you guys like to see or legitimately think they could add to this game. I know I have a few:

Classic MP:
I don't think it would be to hard to make smaller versions of boards and use them for this game. (As a side mode) This would be really nice!

Bowser Party:
Something like MP10, but everyone runs on a tile board like Toad Scramble and every turn it gets smaller. If you get caught there can be minigames that make you lose hearts. You start with 5, and you can get bonus hearts too.

That all I got, post any of yours!

(Also, on Toad scramble do you guys think by any chance you can start with Toadette :p)

Since Toad Scramble using same way as "star and coin" from Classic and Amiibo Party...
I really hope there's classic mode, so there should be actual boards lol
I doubt there'll be Bowser mode.

Nope Toadette was confirmed to help Toad... i guess.

Why even bother?

ND Cube's had control of the series for a while and considering the news that's been released so far for this MP entry, I don't think they have any intention of making the classic mode return.

ND Cude might not developing this Mario Party this time.

I heard somewhere that Toad Scramble is the main mode. So additional modes would probably be something like Amiibo party.

But is anybody going to talk about the fact that this is the second Mario Party to release on a single console since the GCN? That's huge tbh. If the quantity of releases is reverting back to as it was in the past, the quality of games may even catch up too.

Mario Party 8 and 9 are both Wii games (or is this why you said second Mario Party).

Anyway, I think a Classic Mario Party mode would be great as a side mode (with maybe 2 or 3 maps only), but I don't believe it's gonna happen. I guess they would've tell us in the Treehouse footage to appeal to more fans.

As long as pseudo Classic Mode isn't forced in via Amiibo I'm happy

Okay i've thought about the new modes :p

So i think Amiibo party is somehow back (like obvious point, no need to justify lol)

Although not new modes i'd like to see some old MP Bonus modes come back like for example Beach Volley Folley, Ice Hockey, Pen Pals, Desert Duel (now for 4 players), Shell Soccer, The Choicest Voice or Badminton Bash (preferably the last 2 LOL)

They could change the regular MP format and have it set up like Toad Scramble, but actual stars can be put in the random places in place of bosses. It would make sense. There are ways to start minigames, and there are coins on the board. Plus their are items you can use. Also, instead of Toad you can only pick one character to play as.

Sorry I get to excited.:p

Yes, I think it could work well. The only problem I see is the items. We could naturally use items from Island Tour (which directly affect a player), but how about the items from past Mario Party games? Like orbs and all that. It would be so easy to just turn around the space to dodge a trap. Although I guess Nintendo could make it work...

I just don't want amiibo party to return. It was fun like... 4-5 times, that's all.

It NEEDS more than "some" interesting changes to be actually fun for a while, imo. If this mode returns (which is probably the case), it's sure Nintendo won't keep MP10's amiibo party w/o any modifications, we can count on that, but I doubt they will add a whole lot of changes, since it is still an amiibo bonus content.

What I like with Nintendo is that amiibos don't unlock a big mode or something like that, so you don't necessarily feel like you're missing content if you don't have any amiibo, while having one is worth your money (not in every games though).

I just hope they dont make us use the Amiibo to roll a die every turn like they did with MP10

Personally, I hope there would be a story mode, unlockables, and a really good Minigame Mode.
The Minigame Mode was pretty weak in Mario Party 10 and Mario Party Island Tour and I though that was the perfect way to enjoy the minigames if you dislike the main mode so that would be smart to make really fun Minigames Modes like the ones in Mario Party 9 or Mario Party 5 for exemple.  ;)
