My Future Mario Party Artwork

Hi y'all. I made a similar topic before, but I've decided to make a new one. In this topic, I will be posting my drawings of the new board ideas. My first one is here: Ricco Harbor.

Compared to my last draft of Ricco Harbor, this one is larger and has more Orbs available.

Here's a key in case you are confused:
Blue represents a Blue Space.
Red represents a Red Space.
Green represents a Green Space.
Orange represents a Friend Space. If landed on, all Friend Spaces become a Duel Spaces and vice-versa.
Pink represents a Portal Space. If landed on, these warp you to another Portal Space on the board.
Turquoise represents a Comet Space. If landed on, these initiate Comet Minigames, hosted by Rosalina.
Black represents a DK Space. If landed on, all DK Spaces become Bowser Spaces and vice-versa. (Black is to represent the Bowser half.)
Brown represents a Banana Space. If landed on, these initiate Banana Minigames, hosted by Diddy Kong. These are similar to past DK Minigames. If landed on, all Banana Spaces become Jr. Spaces and vice-versa. Jr. Spaces initiate Jr. Minigames, hosted by Bowser Jr. They are similar to past Bowser Minigames.
Yellow represents a Lucky Space.

The giant Mushrooms represent Orb Shops.
The clear circles with ?'s near them represent Orb Spaces.
The large bodies of water are areas where you can pay Rays 5 coins to move to another platform. You will be dropped off in these bodies as well.

if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Friend/Duel Spaces: So they just change every time it's landed without the proper action?
DK/Bowser: Same as above.
Diddy Kong/Bowser Jr.: You mean they change after the mini-game is played when a player lands on it, right?

When you land on a Friend Space, Tumble appears and gives you 5 coins and a player of your choice 5 coins. Then, all Friend Spaces become Duel Spaces.
When you land on a Duel Space, Toadsworth appears and starts a duel. After all the duel-related stuff is done, all Duel Spaces become Friend Spaces.
With the use of a Friend-Duel Switch Orb, you can switch them without even landing on them.

When you land on a DK Space, DK appears and does his thing. Then, all DK Spaces become Bowser Spaces.
When you land on a Bowser Space, Bowser appears and does his thing. Then, all Bowser Spaces become DK Spaces.
With the use of a DK-Bowser Switch Orb, you can switch them without even landing on them.

When you land on a Banana Space, Diddy Kong appears and starts a Banana Minigame. After the minigame is over and everyone receives their prizes, all Banana Spaces become Jr. Spaces.
When you landd on a Jr. Space, Bowser Jr. appears and starts a Jr. Minigame. After the minigame is over and the fate of everyone's coins are solved, all Jr. Spaces become Banana Spaces.
With the use of a Banana-Jr. Switch Orb, you can switch them without even landing on them.

Does that solve your question?

I know I haven't posted in here for a while, but I made some new artwork, and here it is.
This is the first group art for my vision of the next Mario Party. This one would be like a "Teaser Artwork" when scarce details are known about the game. Here you can see the logo, which incorporates a Dice Block. Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toadsworth are simply standing around, Wario and Waluigi are searching for coins, and Tumble is excited to be back. Daisy is participating in my 1-vs-3 Minigame "Chomp Chase", Toad and Toadette in the 4-P Minigame "Queen of the Crop", Birdo in the Battle Minigame "Acci-dental Pull", and Boo in another Battle Minigame, "Frying Pan Surf-ival". Of course, the actual minigames do not involve characters falling from the sky. In the corner you can see The Death Sun, Bowser's space station which holds the power to destroy the party boards, and that blue streak nearby is the Comet Observatory.
As the picture is titled "Main Protagonists", the only characters visible are the hosts and the main playable characters. The antagonists (Bowser and his son) are not here, and other less important playable characters and NPCs are absent as well.

Here's the next piece of artwork. It represents the Box Art.
So here, everyone's gathered in front of Peach's Castle, and Mario hits the Dice Block and gets a 10, which is part of the logo. Everyone around him is completely shocked by his getting a 10. Meanwhile, Bowser and Bowser Jr. look on. On the other end of the hill, Daisy, Waluigi, and Toad are competing in my 4-P minigame "Queen of the Crop", while Birdo, Toadette, and Boo are standing around in the back. Kamek, though not playable, decides to antagonize the 3. In the far corner is Bowser's space station, The Death Sun, which holds the power to destroy the party boards, while the Comet Observatory can be seen near it.

Don't worry, I plan for my next mini project to be a full group art, with every playable character and every important NPC, and that should include DK and Diddy. However, due to the multitude of playable characters, I just don't see some of them, as well as the Kongs, as important to the storyline, so they haven't popped up in any of the drawings so far. But I do plan for them to make an appearance soon. ;)

As Vip would like to see, it's the Full Cast Artwork, which includes every playable character (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Daisy, Waluigi, Toad, Boo, Toadette, Birdo, Dry Bones, Blooper, Hammer Bro., Koopa, Shy Guy, and the unlockables, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Wiggler, and Koopa Kid), the hosts (Toadsworth and Tumble), the antagonists (Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Kamek), and the supporting NPCs (DK, Diddy Kong, and Rosalina). Of course, the logo is plainly visible and a Star can be seen. In the far corner once again, The Death Sun is visible alongside the Comet Observatory.

I know these next two drawings do not have much to do with my future Mario Party, but think of it this way: it's the solo artwork for Rosalina (an NPC important to the story) and Queen Bee (who appears as an Orb)! I decided to draw the Queen Bee because I was bored, and I drew Rosalina because I was trying out a new design for her.
Wow, nice artwork! I want to upload my art too, but I currently suck at drawing...  :p

It's been quite a while since my last piece of artwork, but here's the next one.
It depicts the 1-vs-3 Minigame "Rule with an Iron Fist". The 3-team is chased into a square, enclosed forest clearing similar to the area from MP9's "Wiggler Bounce" minigame. The solo player is holding a large, iron fist, and attempts to crush the other 3 players, who are trying to survive the 30 seconds. The solo player walks a bit slowly though, due to the fist's heavy weight. There are rocks and even teepees that the players can run around and use as obstacles between them and the solo player. As time goes on, Spear Guys appear out of the teepees are from outside the forest and walk around, spearing anyone who gets near. This will stun any player, even the solo player.
In this artwork, Wiggler (one of the unlockable characters) is the solo player, and he is chasing Yoshi. Boo has already been crushed, and in the back Toadette runs for cover behind the rock, but a Spear Guy has stunned her. If Wiggler's smart, he would go over and crush Toadette, leaving Yoshi as the last member of the 3-team alive.

Here comes my next project, one that I started not long after I finished my Ricco Harbor map. Unfortunately, using Paint, I saved it as JPEG (back then I didn't know you could save it as a PNG), and trying to restart, my efforts failed. Just the other day, I decided to restart the project, and it is seen now as DK's Construction Site. Even the background is chock-full of visuals. I will start from the bottom of the course and describe it going up. As a reminder to everyone, blue represents Blue Spaces, red for Red Spaces, green for Green Spaces, orange for Friend/Duel Spaces, turquoise for Comet Spaces, brown for Banana/Jr. Spaces, black for DK/Bowser Spaces, and pink for Portal Spaces.

The board starts in a sandlot, at the beginning of the 25m section. Landing on the Green Space by the oil drum causes a Trouble Bug / Fire to appear and burn you, making you lose 10 coins. At the top of the 25m is a Green Space by the pile of barrels. Landing on it causes Action Time  to occur, where the barrels start rolling down the course. If you jump over them, you're safe. If not, you get chased back down to Start.

In 50m, there are many conveyor belts. Landing on one of the many Green Spaces causes the conveyor belt to move. The 1st conveyor belt moves one space to the left. If you're caught at the end, you run against the belt and stay at the end of the belt. The Green Spaces in front of the Sand Piles cause you to check inside, finding 5 coins, 10 coins, 1 Star, 5 koins (opposite of coins), 10 koins, 1 Ztar, or an Orb. If you land on the Green Spaces by the gaps, you jump over to the platform. The Green Space under the hammer makes all Character Spaces in 25m and 50m disappear. The 2nd conveyor belt moves 1 space to the right. The Lucky Space by the parasol lets you float over to the Big-City (seen in the background) to Pauline's house, where she gives you a Star, sending you back to the course on a hot-air balloon.

As can be seen, 75m is in despair, with the 2nd elevator broken, along with a section with two unlandable-on Comet Spaces broken as well. Landing on the Green Space by the jacks causes the jacks to jump along the top girder, making everyone up there lose 10 coins.
We've finally reached 100m. Landing on a Green Space atop a metal rivet causes it to disappear, making you fall to the space below. Once you reach the top, DK will reward you with a free Star and send you back to the beginning.

The background is filled with lots of visual eye candy. The Big-City from Donkey Kong for the Gameboy can be seen, along with an Empire State Building imitation and the Museum from the Animal Crossing series. A sea wharf/port can be seen behind them. Across the ocean is a familiar landscape, complete with a cannon: it's Peach's Castle visible in the distance! And high up in the sky is what would be the game's trademark, the Death Sun in space along with the Comet Observatory.

I hope you enjoy this board map! Sooner or later I shall start on the next board map, Fly Guy's Skytop Climb.

EDIT: OOPS!!! I just realized "Construction" has been *ahem* shortened... Please ignore that it's a spelling mistake and enjoy the stylized wording and board artwork.
