Mega Man X (series) General Talk

Yeah.

I've only played MMX myself (mainly on Singapore Airlines flights). I used to not know about wall kicks which made me fail the opening level

But the mechanics in MMX were excellent and it was a fun game. Anthropomorhpic/animalian Mavericks in this game were the s***. :Frostache:

I've played X-X3 and seen X4. I haven't played X4-X8 because they sound horrible.

It wasn't very noticeable after X3 imo, and the mechanics were ight. And Hadouken/Shoryuken FTW!

MMX was my first and favorite Mega Man game so far. I played for hours, days, and years. The others are great too, but I always take the first one as the best of the X series. When I tried to play the original Mega Man games, s*** went down as I was not used to not being able to wall kick.

Out of interest, what did you think of the CGI video openings/endings/cutscenes/whatever in the later games (X4 onward, and Maverick Hunter X if you played that)?

I thought they were ok. I mean, they were better than no opening. X4's was my favorite if I recall.
