mario sequels

Would you rather nintendo make sequels to specific Mario games or something brand new every single time?
A sequel for me depends on how long the game is. If it was short, a sequel may be needed.

I like games having sequels, under certain conditions

1. The sequel should be better than the original
2. They wait a few years before each sequel
3. The sequel has new gameplay mechanics

And overall don't give everything a sequel, work on new designs instead of recycling old ones with a few new features

Well we don't need a Mario Galaxy 3, so my vote is to have it be a new game style.
