Mario Party N64 Trilogy

So... Yeah. Talk about all of the original N64 Mario Parties here.

3 is my favorite, with a good item system(along with good items in general, like Reverse Mushroom), standard Minigames and Waluigi Island. Seriously, you need to play that board to see how crazy a game can get.

2's okay. Boards and minigames are alright, and this is the first game to use items(even though you can only hold one.)

1 is... eh. It's not as good as 3 or 2, but I suppose an okay start. You could probably still have fun with this game if you got a couple of friends.

I really like 2. The boards were pretty fun and the minigames were awesome as well.

3 was alright. I didn't like the boards as much as in 2, but the minigames were still good and the Duel Mode was great too.

I never played 1, and I probably never will, because those control stick minigames kinda worry me.

2 is prolly my favourite Mario Party, loved the minigames, the boards, the outfits.
3 is also one of my favourites, Tumble was a fun host.
I've never played 1, most likely never will unless it makes Virtual Console.

I'm pretty sure 1 will never be released on the VC, because Nintendo is worried that the lawsuit about the rotating joystick minigames is gonna pop up again, even though it'll be less brutal on the player's hand since the Wii U's joystick isn't made out of plastic.

Nintendo can really be paranoid at times.
The Pro Controller and GamePad joysticks seem more durable, they're not in the middle of the controller either.

I LOVED Mario Party 3! It is my 2nd favorite Mario Party game ever...probably because of Nostalgia and how good the Minigames are.

I didn't play much of 2 and I never played the 1st one before at all...All I can say about 2, is it's alright...Don't like how you can only have 1 item and you need to buy the minigames. (You can still play them in Party Mode buuut...you need to buy them after to play them outside Party mode.)

You know Game Guy from MP3? That was without a doubt one of the worst things in Mario Party 3 ever. One thing that could have made it a lot better was to choose the amount of coins you want instead of forcibly betting all coins you have.
Oh, God. I remember that motherf**ker. I would of liked 3 much more than I do now, if it wasn't because of that bulls**t.

Truer words have never been spoken about Game Guy.

Hm.

MP1 was a rocky start for the series. I mean, 1 is a good game, but there's a few flaws in the game, such as the random roll blocks. You have no control over these, and some of them are annoying, especially the warp block. Plus joystick rotation.

MP2 improved on 1 in every way. For one, it added item shops where you could buy items and use them whenever you wanted. There's also a few recycled minigames from 1, but I think I like the versions from 2 better.

Now, MP3. This game improved even more on 2, making it a vast improvement over 1. You can carry three items, the items themselves are good(reverse mushroom is very strategic) the boards are great to okay, there are some fun minigames, etc... Also there were duel boards. Wonder why that never returned.

All in all, I think 3 was a good game to end off with on the N64. While 1 wasn't the best, it started everything, and you can have some fun with it, even if it's just a "bare bones" version of Mario Party.
