Mario Party Legacy Community Night – Mario Kart Wii

Community Night is back, and after a successful night of Mario Kart 7, we are back to play Mario Kart Wii! Join the community and make new friends as we get together and play! This Community Night will be hosted by Toblet! We will be playing this Saturday, and you can check the times below:

Now, this is where the tricky part comes in. Mario Kart Wii does not include the function to add communities like Mario Karty 7, and is instead restricted to rooms hosted by your registered friends. Thus, we need everyone who plans to play to leave their friend code in the comments (on the article of the main site!) so we can add them to the list. Before we start racing, everyone will need to register the friend codes of both Toblet and Dark Boo.

There is a shoutbox you can hang out in on the main site. Get to know some of our readers outside the Forum!

There's three options:

>Solo Race - Everyone races as individuals.
>Team Race - Race as two teams; the team with the most points wins.
>VS Races - Balloon and Coin Battle.

I'll probably be hosting them all, but let me know what type of game(s) you guys want to see more of.

Also please post on the main site your FC. If you don't want it to be public, pm me and DB it, so we can still add you.

I wasn't actually certain. I even put a question mark next to your name because I wasn't sure if you could host. It was probably my fault for not making it clearer and I assumed you could host. Sorry for the misunderstanding. :\

We still need another host then. 1 host for 12 people isn't enough. Any volunteers?

Edit: It's not actually difficult to host a game people. Just go online - go to friends - host a room - watch people join your game and then pick what you want to play. The only difficult part is adding people's friend codes. We need a volunteer sooner rather than later.

Try to be on time. Each hosted game lasts around 20 minutes, so you don't want to be late or you'll be kept waiting.

2. Yes no glitching. Of those 5, the only track I sometimes choose is Coconut Mall and that's not to do the glitch. If you can glitch on any of those tracks don't do it. Short cuts e.g. DK Mountain are allowed.
3. Yup, that means once a track has been chosen, don't pick it again for a while.

Like Staryu said though, it's not a tourney it's friendly competition. You can't gain VR and you can't lose VR. (At least, I don't think so...)

There's no need to disable Grumble Volcano, Toblet. Just put in the rules that to not do any glitching of any sort, the course can be played perfectly normal.
