Mario Party 5 Super Duel Mode

Do you like Super Duel Mode?

It's very fun. I have Spiny Body and a Prinaha Plant Weapon.

Super Duel Mode was an alright little thing going on. I beat all 3 of the tournaments for it and unlocked everything in it (being able to buy all the battle minigame parts was a long task to manage).  But I never play it in my spare time because it isn't really that great.

Like Ryan, I've got all the parts and cleared all tournaments. However, since I don't have a second player (or controller!), I think I'm missing out on 2-player duels.

Just wondering, is Bowser unlockable or not?

Weapon wise, the Bob-omb Wall is quite overrated - "increases speed" - by how much? I didn't notice it at all. The Bowser Punch, despite being a prototype, is a great offensive weapon.

No, Bowser is not unlockable. Donkey Kong is unlockable, however.

I liked this mode, though not by much. Getting all of the weapons took the longest because there was only 6 Battle Mini-Games in Mario Party 5.

Well to add to VIP's answer, you can unlock Bowser's vehicle parts, but not Bowser himself.

Even though most of his parts are not Bowser-themed. (only the Fire Breath and Bowser Punch are...)

Talking about vehicles, does anyone like Skolar's or DK's parts? I don't like either that much, except for the DK Body and Skolar gun.

I agree, I don't like either. Especially DK's parts, when I tried them I was terrible, yet DK does so good on them. I was slow, had way less traction, and my weapon wasn't good. Ever since then I never a DK part again.

Meh. Its alright. Though, it sucks that you can't even be Bowser in Super Duel Mode. I thought that was a downfall. But I guess I wouldn't mind seeing this return in a future Mario Party game.

It was a little neat thing to add in the game, I suppose.

I liked the Super Duel mode. I think this is what makes this Mario Party unique. I think they should bring it back into the hopefully soon Mario Party 9. I haven't unlocked all the part yet, but I'll get to it sometime.

I beat him on my first try. Anyway I use Boo always(I've used DK once or twice) with every part the E.Gadds machine parts.

I always tried to build a good machine, but not a cheap one either.

I usually build well balanced machines when playing the more balanced they are they better time you'll have winning.
