Mario Party 4

Never played this one, ever.

I will say this, though. Outta of the GameCube Mario Parties, this is the one I'm the most interested in. So, I'll definitely buy it once it gets released on the Wii U Virtual Console

Are GC games coming to the Wii U VC? I honestly doubt it, but maybe Nintendo will add backwards compatibility with it because of the GC controller adapter. Did they even mention it?

Also Fun Fact: I unlocked all of MP4's minigames in two days.

The only thing that I really don't like in this game is the horrendously long Story Mode and Beach Volley Bolley.

They can't add backwards compatibility to a console.
It has to have a certain processor chip built into the console, the Wii U does not.
And no, GCN games have not been confirmed to be added to Wii U Virtual Console.

I see. Would a Wii U even have enough space for GC games anyway?

Back to the topic of MP4: Once in a game me and two other computers got six reversal of fortunes in Boo's Haunted Bash. Seriously.

If the Wii U has enough space to be able to have downloadable Wii games on the console, then, i'm pretty sure it has enough space for GC games.

That sucks. I wonder who won.

I had won, but only because of the bonus stars lol.

Also, before I had gotten MP4, I had watched a let's play of it by TheRunawayGuys, and all of the mini games where for example the one person always lost, it was the complete opposite for me.(Examples like Blame it on the crane and Fish and Drips) Heck, recently, in fish and drips, Me with two computers somehow tied with the other computer. When does that ever happen, seriously?

Out of curiosity, what makes MP4 different then other MP games? People often say it's the really good, but is it really the best?  :-\

For one, it's the last game to have the very classic format with the Item shop, and the last game to have DK playable until MP10...

I dunno why I like this game so much. The minigames are alright but the boards are kinda bland with the metal path over the board.

So that explains why there's metal paths in Mario Party 4? Makes sense as it was when the developers were getting out of N64 Mario Party times. I think those had the paths as well. I liked the paths, they were fine to me.

Mario Party 4 wasn't my favorite GCN Mario Party as I liked 6 and 7 more but I liked it. The last one before DS to have the traditional items. The mini-games were fun but I didn't care much for the Story mode, it made the character presents tedious to collect. I like it was the first one to introduce team mode.
