Longer anime series

So, a lot of anime go on for quite a while. Such as Naruto (If you include both series) and One Piece. Most series that last this long though tend to have too many fillers though because they sometimes begin to catch up to the manga. I wouldn't count One Piece as a drag but I really wish most anime were shorter. However, I'd rather have fillers than an anime just announcing they were going on a break any day. Discussions?

The longer animes tend to be the most terrible (Naruto, Bleach, etc.)

I prefer shorter animes that are actually worth watching like Lucky Star, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and Code Geass.

Aside from Narutard and Blegh, Hayate no Gotoku season one has 52 episodes and the second season has 25. In total so far that's 77. X_X They plan on making a third season as well. But I don't mind. That anime is my most favorite.

Pfff. At the moment, it could even go to 70 episodes. There's also the movie that is going to come out later this year.

And I don't really mind long anime. Just to make more money, as Kubo would say it.
