You know, the legend on the backcourt of the castle (entrance to Big Boo's Haunt) where the star statue's plague says "L Is Real".

Do you believe that it says that or is it just scribbles?

I checked it and it does look like it says "L is real". The developers probably put that in to mess with us, not that I even noticed that.

Pretty sure it says "Eternal Star" on the first line, no idea about the second. It most certainly does not say L is Real 2401.

I've also heard speculation that the second line reads "Mario is deep" which makes less sense than the first.

Some people read it as either Millinium (VIP, it's spelled like that for the sake of people trying to read the writing) or Eternal Star. Personally, I think it's just scribbles but apparently it was a cult trend to try and see if there was meaning.

Looks more like Japanese kanji than roman American writing.
